Sometimes a walk can make everything feel better. I started the day feeling rubbish but after my walk, I felt much better.
I put a pair of workout pants on and a pair of runners, jumped in the car, drove to a nearby forest and began my walk. I walked for about two hours, half the time was spent getting lost in the forest and the other half finding the way back.
It’s weird that putting one foot in front of the other can improve your mood. But there are a lot of benefits to walking and not just keeping you in shape. It improves your mood, balance and coordination, as well as strengthens bones and muscles. It’s a great way to breathe in fresh air and to learn more about the area you live in.
