January Favourites 2017

The first month of the new year has flown by. So much has already happened and here are a few things that have helped me get back into the swing of things after the Christmas break:

Glow SkinWorks, Sonic facial cleansing brush

Glow SkinWorks Sonic Facial Cleansing brush | Aoife Caitriona

I picked this brush up at my local supermarket and I’d been considering getting one for a while. I’ve started using more face washes lately but I felt that I wasn’t washing my face properly by using my fingers. Luckily this was on offer, so I picked it up and have been using it for a month. My pores are noticeably smaller and clearer. The general feel of my skin is much better and it feels lighter too. It also glows as well. Would definitely recommend getting one of these brushes or something similar.

Witch, Oil Control Foaming facewash

I’ve been using this along side the cleansing brush. It’s soft on my skin and works as a gentle cleanser. I’ve used this brand before and really liked that it didn’t irritate my skin. I use two pumps of this to wash my face.

Stradivarius, Planner/ Agenda

I bought this Agenda in the boxing day sales (you can see that post here) and I talked about it briefly in a previous post about the new year (you can see that post here). This planner has helped me to keep on top of things and has helped stay in control. I love the colour of it, it’s like a dusty pink and I really connect with the quote on the front. The pages are clearly laid out and there’s plenty of space for each day to write all my notes. There are also pages with a monthly calendar which is great and I can look to see what I have planned that month.

Aussie, Winter  Miracle Conditioner:

My hair tends to get dry quickly so it’s important for me to use products that add moisture to my hair. I’ve started using this conditioner by Aussie alongside my normal shampoo. I’ve found that my hair feels less dry and is happier, meaning I don’t have to wash it every day like I did previously. The conditioner is obviously designed to be used in the winter and with all the temperamental cold weather in Britain, this conditioner works perfectly for me. I’ve also been using the treatment mask for added moisture.
